Question 1: What is the most popular celebration in your country ?

Probably, the most famous celebration in Vietnam is the Tet Holiday. It is not only the occasion to mark the beginning of a New Year in the Lunar Calendar, but also a time of reunions for family members and friends.

Question 2: How do people celebrate the New Year Holiday in Vietnam ?

The Vietnamese people usually clean and decorate our homes at least three days before the Tet Holiday, as it is said to be unlucky if we do so during the days of the event. Also, we tend to prepare feasts with many traditional dishes, which are in honor of our long-gone ancestors.

I gradually prefer handing out lucky money as I just love seeing the blissful smiles on the childrens faces when accepting my gifts.
