SOLVED: Samsung S9 S10 Stops Recording Video at 5 or 10 Minutes
If you have an Samsung S9 or S10 and you have found that is stops recording video after 10 minutes, it is because you are recording at a rate above 1920 x 1080 30 frames per second.
Here are the limitations:
- 5 Minute max UHD 60 FPS 3840 x 2160
- 10 Minute max UHD 30 FPS 3840 x 2160
- 10 Minute max FHD 60 FPS 1920 x 1080
- Limited only be storage FHD 30 FPS 1920 x 1080 and smaller
To check of change your video configuration:
- Start the camera
- Click the settings cog icon [top left]
- Press REAR VIDEO SIZE
- Press RESOLUTION
- make your selection from the options shown in the screen shot to the right that is taken from a Samsung S9 running Android 9.0
