William Jardell was a contestant on cycle 21 of ANTM in 2014, where he was the runner-up. Early Life[]Will graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Science and a minor in Art and Architecture History. ANTM[]Will was the only openly gay man in auditions, and brought his own pair of high heels, which Denzel hated. He was the second model called to the final cast. He was too nervous about his body at the silly string runway challenge and had one of the lowest scores. Later, he struggled at the wet and wild photoshoot, with Kelly Cutrone even giving him a five at judging. He was in the bottom two, but had a higher score than Ivy. In episode four, he shared an off-screen kiss with Matthew after a house party. Some of the other models, Denzel and Mirjana, accused Matthew of being bi or gay, to which Matthew defended himself. They were paired together for the Spider Byte romance commercial the very next week, to which Will won a first call-out for. In episode seven, one of the most memorable moments of the season, is Will overhearing Denzel's homophobic comments about him and wearing his heels. He tells everyone in the house about this, and they are all on his side, with Adam even confessing about his homophobia in the past. At judging, he wore heels to spite Denzel, and eventually the judges themselves call him out, with Tyra comparing his homophobia to racism in the 50s. In episode nine, he won best photo for the Mitch Stone campaign, while Denzel got the boot. In episode ten, because of his first call-out prize, he got a visit from his mom and dad. He also explains his rocky relationship with his dad because of his sexuality. Later, the judges didn't like how flabby his body looked at the HIV awareness shoot, and was in the bottom three. He was one of the most vocal about the dislike of Chantelle, along with Lenox. In the finale judging, he had a higher score than Adam, but lost to Keith. He was in the magazines Anon, Kirameki, LUCY'S, Linger, Fantasticsmag, and STATUS Magazine Online. He was in a NOH8 Campaign, and he was in a banner ad for freeHIVtest.net. He had a role in an episode of "Raymond & Lane" and "The Bianca Bee Show". In 2015, he launched a line of luxury high heels called Jardells. Will has a YouTube channel where he uploaded weekly recaps of cycle 22 and cycle 23. Almost all of his cycle 22 recaps featured a contestant. In 2020, he was interviewed by April and Mercedes from cycle 2 for their webshow, "Throwback Thursday Time". In Late 2018, Will competed on the thirty-second season of The Amazing Race with his boyfriend, James Wallington. The dating couple won three legs on their way to the final leg and ultimately won the race. After winning the season, Will proposed to James, who accepted.
