What: Elizabeth Arden’s latest Prevage Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum is said to make eyelashes and eyebrows appear longer, fuller and healthier. Formulated with an exclusive triple peptide complex, the serum stimulates inactive hair follicles to encourage hair growth. It also contains vitamins and botanical extracts to treat lash breakage while shielding lashes from environmental aggressors.

The brand has indicated that the formula is fragrance as well as colorant free and is suitable for contact lens wearers.

Review: Aside from sunscreen, I’ll never leave home without my mascara. While I wish for my eyelashes to look as long as Kim Kardashian’s, they don’t. I rely on at least four coats of mascara on top of curling them with an eyelash curler. This happens about six times a week, the whole year round. So it’s no surprise that my lashes are weak, sparse and brittle. Plus, I lose eyelashes every now and then when removing my eye makeup.

I started using lash serums three years ago to nourish my battered eye lashes and I still continue doing so. But unlike other lash-fortifying serums, Elizabeth Arden’s Prevage Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum didn’t stain my eyelids or turn them a shade darker – a side effect of some other serums.

For a month, I applied a thin layer of Elizabeth Arden’s Prevage Clinical Lash + Brow Enhancing Serum on my entire upper lash line every night before my eye serum and eye cream.

While some other lash serums that I’ve tried left a sticky residue on my eyelids and some (that had to be applied on the lashes) left my lashes heavy and lifeless, Elizabeth Arden’s lash and brow enhancing serum had great texture. I loved that its watery serum dried almost instantly without leaving my eyes feeling uncomfortable and it did not sting my eyes.

The applicator brush is thin which makes it easy to control and makes application close to the lash line effortless.

After two weeks, I noticed that the missing lashes on my lash line had grown back. After a month, my lashes appeared thicker as well as fuller and they don’t break off as easily even when I remove my eye makeup.

I have yet to use the serum on my eyebrows but if I tweeze out of my brow line, I’ll be sure to turn to this serum for help.
