As a committed runner, I have been as Asics girl for years. After several disappointing Asics purchases, however, I decided to give the Mizuno Wave Inspire a try (also after carefully reading through the reviews from other Zappos customers). These running shoes are phenomenal! They are stable and supportive, with plenty of room in the toe box, without being bulky. They give a very cushioned run. I have a narrow heel, but still need room in the toe box, and these provide both. I've been putting 12-15 miles a week in with these, and have not had any issues with my knees or ankles (which I experienced with other brands). They are sturdy enough to do some trail running as well, something I never would have tried with my old Asics. Mizumo, you have a new fan!

I am very happy with my new Mizuno Wave Inspire 14 after returning 7 other shoes! I need stability for over pronation issues and have wid-ish feet. Formerly I've worn Brooks Addiction but something isn't right with that shoe now. Tried Adrenaline also including several sizes of both, and a couple of sized of Hoka. It was beginning to feel like my new job in life was ordering and returning shoes. One feature this is really nice with this brand is that they come in different widths. I ordered 1/2 size larger because of what reviewers were saying and ordered the wider width. Again - very happy with these shoes. Forgot to mention I am older and starting to have some foot pain which my physical therapist says may be relieved with good fitting shoes with stability. Mine are the the Dapple grey Clover color which are a slightly lavender grey with purple on sides. They have decent tread for walking on dirt.

These are a great supportive shoes. Fun color too and so far so good. I'm testing them in the house just to make sure they're right. I walk and go to the gym 4-5 days a week and Mazuno makes the best shoes for my hard to fit women's size 12 narrow foot

This aren't nearly as wide in the toe bed as other wides from Saucony, Brooks... I don't have wide feet but buy wides in running shoes because of Morton Neuromas and this were tight across the toes. An amazing shoe for the MN's is the Saucony Omni 15 but unfortunately Saucony changed the comfort, cush, of the 15's with the 16 and they just aren't as good. I hate when companies do this to a good selling model!

These run small - I am a true 8 in almost all shoes and had to size up to and 8 1/2. This seems typical of the Mizuno Wave Inspires - I have the previous generation of these also and same sizing issues. These are the best shoes I've found for stabilization, arch support, comfort and being lightweight. I have a tendency to twist my ankles so stabilization is important to me. I wish Mizunos looked as good as Nike's but these aren't too too bad in the looks department. I only wear then for actual running, not around town.

This is my first pair of Mizuno Wave Inspire running sneakers in many years. During the years I was training and running marathons and halfs - VERY SLOWLY - these were my go to sneakers. I have a high arch so arch support is really important to me and I need stability sneakers. It can be hard to figure out if a certain brand and model is designed for stability or cushioning or under/over pronation. Which makes it hard to shop anywhere where there is not a very educated staff. You can make some expensive mistakes - which I did once when I purchased a pair of "cushioned" rather stability sneakers. Ended up with an injury. I am really enjoying these sneakers, the stability is great and they are holding up very well as I attempt to come back to running lots of years and way too many pounds later. I do rotate my running sneakers with a second pair and always replace after 400-500 miles which works out to 4-6 months for me. This is a pain but so crucial to avoiding injury. And these sneakers make you look like a bad ass!!!! ;-)

I really liked the appearance and fit of these shoes initially. They would be a great choice for someone who needs a stability shoe and over pronates. I hoped they would work for me, but unfortunately they had a high arch support that rolled my foot outward, and I really need a neutral footbed. So I reluctantly returned them for a pair of Brooks Ghost 11s in narrow. It’s so hard to find narrow running shoes in nice colors and I loved the Mizuno color and hate the one narrow color of the Brooks. But fit comes first.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this shoe. I have pretty severe overpronation and these shoes feel great after a day walking at Sea World.

I ended 2018 with a running related ankle injury. After an MRI and a trip to the podiatrist I learned I needed a stability shoe to fix my overpronation in order to continue running again. I plan to run a marathon at the end of 2019, so I ordered about 8 different pairs of shoes to see what worked best. These were by far the most comfortable and best fitting shoes I tried on! A lot of the stability shoes I tried were either too wide, too stiff or too loose in the heel for me to run in. Or, let’s face it, some are pretty ugly. These fit snug but not too tight, fit great with my orthotic inserts, and they’re cute! I ordered the same pair in a different color so I could have the proper footwear for cross training and running outdoors. I’m confident that these will cross the finish line at my marathon this fall!

Oh my gosh!! I did not think I would fall in love with these!! I usually order either New Balance, Salmon, or Sketchers. This time I decided to use the app to filter for the best reviews on athletic shoes. I came across these and decided to take a chance!! I am so glad I did!! First... Take what the reviews say about the size to heart. I saw one reviewer say they wish they had listened to another reviewer about ordering a half-size up. I did just that and bam!! It fit perfect. I usually wear an 11 in shoes and the half size up fit just right. Second.. These are very supportive and comfortable. They kinda remind me of sketchers but the quality is far better. I am not a runner but I do walk fast. These shoes glide so smoothly. I have had ligament reconstruction on my left ankle so athletic shoes tend to aggravate it. I walked fast in them today and no pain what-so-ever. I just got these a few days ago, so yes as brand new they work! I feel like I am walking on clouds! I love the style and color. I hope this review helps especially as sizing goes.

I have very flat feet, these have great arch support. I have to buy a full size larger than my typical shoe size, but they fit very comfortably and give enough flexibility to move around when running or walking.

I only wear Mizuno tennis shoes due to my narrow foot. They fit my foot like a glove, have tried other shoes no comparison. Would definitely recommend. I do get the running shoes always, which is good for walking and running.

Great shoe! I have terrible feet (flat, bunions, plantar faccitis etc.) and a friend recommended this brand & model and I really like them. They are very supportive and comfortable. I am a true 7 and ordered them and then after wearing them around for about 15 minutes, I decided they were a 1/2 size too small so I ordered the 7.5 and they fit great!

A great feeling and looking pair of shoes, Mizuno has turned into my go to shoes (although I never seem to be able to get the same style from one generation to next!). They have excellent support for my pronated feet and are slightly wider in the forefoot an narrower I the heel which works great for the shape of my foot.

These are great shoes!!! As everyone suggested I ordered a full size larger and the fit perfect. My job requires me to be on my feet all day and I recently had knee surgery. They give me great comfort and support the whole day. I use to wear Asics but there are far better

I was disappointed in the stitching on the side. I have wider feet, and I have loved getting the wave inspires for years. The new way they did the side-stitching really rubbed my foot the wrong way making it uncomfortable to wear. :(

Just received them and went for my first run! I've been a long time wearer or the Wave Inspire series as well as the Brooks Adenaline. Hands down these are the best yet. Softer then both of the previous versions and seems to hug my foot better than ever. 6 miles down and many more to go.

These shoes are just a replacement of my exact same pair from two years ago. I knew what I was getting and was not surprised by anything. They're lightweight sneakers and they get me from point a to point a on the elliptical. I will say, I did not want the color I was forced to purchase peacock blue as they were out of the one I wanted and that Peacock blue is not a good descriptor. It should be more descriptive of how they actually made this color which is that Mizuno found the whole Smurf family, killed them, and turned them into these shoes.

I like Mizuno running shoes available in wide because they are wider than most regular shoes, but not as wide as most wide widths and I just need a little wider shoe typically. While I am doubtful any new model will ever compare to the greatness of the Wave Inspire 9, I prefer these greatly over the 10-13 versions.

I purchased this sneaker because my foot doctor recommended a sneaker with a differential of 12mm or more. (gray/clover, size 9.5M). I have a horrible time finding comfortable shoes, and I need supportive sneakers for walking to and from work. The sneakers are very, very comfortable and light weight. However, my feet are flat and I suffer from Achilles tendonitis, heel spurs, etc. The arch support in the Wave Inspire 14 was too much for me, and tipped my feet outward rather than allowing for a horizontal platform. This is not good! So I sent them back. If you need a comfortably padded sneaker that feels light on the foot, with definite arch support, the Wave Inspire may work for you.

I have been running in Mizuno Wave Inspires for the past 9 years for my everyday trainers. I've trained for 6 marathons in them and many other races. I usually get close to 700 miles in each pair before my knees, ankles, etc. start to hurt and then I know it's time for a new pair.

First time I've tried Mizuno, and I really like these shoes. A good, solid shoe with support and cushion, but I did need to insert my orthotic for added arch support. My size wasn't available so I ordered a size larger, but it was too big, so will return these and put in a request to be notified when my size is available again.
