Love & Death - 8/10. Another miniseries about a true crime story. This time, its the second go around of the Candy Montgomery story. I haven't watched the Jessica Biel version, so I have no way of knowing which of the two is better. But, this miniseries is solidly held together and uplifted by an incredibly damaged Elizabeth Olsen. This feels like an offshoot of the Wandavision performance, and she really makes this show better than it should be. It gets shaky near the middle, but its the last episode and the performances of Olsen and Tom Pelphrey, who plays her lawyer, that really buoys this show to a better landing. Good and at times dark show!

Love & Death is based on the true story of Candy Montgomery, a housewife from Texas who in 1980 became the prime suspect in a murder investigation.
